Job Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Clinical Operations, the Registered Nurse follows day to day instructions and guidance from the Lead RN and delivers direct care to paid, donors undergoing blood and/or tissue collections in an outpatient setting. The duties of the Registered Nurse fall into two main categories; those of general nursing and those of a hemapheresis clinician. The Registered Nurse also has a variety of administrative and non-clinical tasks. This individual must demonstrate personal commitment to quality and accountability while contributing to company objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Initiate, perform, and complete donor collection procedures according to specified policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Follow established process flow to ensure customer orders are fulfilled and shipped timely.
  • Perform and document pertinent assessments to establish donor eligibility and qualifications.
  • Provide donor education as it relates to specific collection procedures ensuring the sustained reliability and safety of the donor base, this includes thorough explanation on collections process as well as reinforcement on commitment needed to program.
  • Ability to analyze diagnostic laboratory data.
  • Ensure donor safety including managing adverse events during collection procedures.
  • Acts as a resource person to other clinical team members.
  • Demonstrate effective and professional inter-disciplinary communication.
  • Able to manage time effectively and establish efficient work flow on donor floor.
  • Demonstrate competency and maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to monitor daily schedule and coordinate daily workflow with front desk staff and perform all front desk duties as needed.
  • Lead continuous improvement of practices, processes and procedures to further donor satisfaction, compliance, documentation and efficiency.
  • Perform daily functions of the lead RN in the absence of the lead RN. Including, act as clinical point of contact during audits or clinical investigations.
  • Promotes an atmosphere of open communication that facilitates staff input into decision-making, resolution of conflict, and collegiality among all team members.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse License.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Minimum 4 years of full time clinical nursing experience required. Previous apheresis experience a plus
  • Excellent venipuncture skills required.
  • Prior oncology, Apheresis, blood bank, or dialysis experience preferred.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Usually walking or standing to do work with some sitting, bending and stooping will be required.
  • Work is performed in an environment that involves everyday risks and discomforts requiring safety precautions typical of outpatient medical clinics.
  • Some pushing and/or pulling of wheeled equipment will be required, as well as some lifting.
  • Tasks involve exposure to blood, body fluids or tissues.

Job Summary: 

Reporting to the President, the Associate Director of Manufacturing Operations will lead manufacturing teams to ensure efficient and productive daily operations covering human tissue collection through manufacturing and delivery of biological products and services to meet the increasing needs of research scientists in the development of cell and gene therapies.      

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Lead operational teams, which includes the production lab, planning and material management to ensure catalog and customized product orders are manufactured and delivered on-time according to customer requirements
  • Lead the clinical grade post sales activities to ensure projects are completed on-time according to customer project criteria 
  • Partner closely with other operational and commercial teams in developing operational plans to enable continued business growth
  • Effectively communicate priorities and lead resolution of operational issues among the teams to meet company objectives
  • Work closely with management team to  ensure operational procedures & practices comply with State and Federal regulatory requirements
  • Evaluate manufacturing processes and operational work-flow, establish performance metrics, and to maximize efficiency, quality and capacity utilization
  • Maintain knowledge of process development and scale-up of manufacturing processes 
  • Manage the material suppliers’ relationship
  • Provide overall leadership in manufacturing operations, set aggressive objectives on annual basis
  • Set performance standards, conduct performance appraisals, coach, and develop employees     
  • Participate in regulatory and customer compliance audits, as required

Job Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Cell Biology required. Graduate degree or Ph.D a plus. Excellent training in cell biology, immunology, molecular biology are preferred.
  • Over 6-8 years of life sciences industry experience in the areas of manufacturing, sales and customer service with minimum 2-3 years experience successfully leading teams.
  • Previous experience working in a laboratory is a must.      
  • Proven track record and thorough understanding of manufacturing practices.
  • Previous experience in GMP manufacturing a plus. 
  • Broad understanding of primary cell product manufacturing and service development relating to required task duration, project prioritization, and budget management
  • Strong management skills, experience facilitating and managing team dynamics
  • Knowledge of supplier processes such as raw materials, manufacturing, and distribution
  • Strong grasp of data analysis and performance metrics

Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Director of Clinical Operations and guidance from the Lead Registered Nurse, this staff member will be performing phlebotomy and providing direct care to paid, healthy donors undergoing blood and/or tissue collections in an outpatient setting. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Venipunctures and blood collection, donor/patient recruitment & retention, donor/patient database management, donor/patient screening, medical histories, vital signs, and bone marrow assistance. Incumbent is also expected to: manage donor/patient reactions along with consulting with Registered Nurse(s) or co-workers. Maintain safety and cleanliness of the Clinical Division. Work independently and consult with coworkers in a professional manner as needed.

Requirements:

  • Nationally Certified Phlebotomy Technician from the National Center for Competency Testing.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Phlebotomist. This is a critical and non-negotiable requirement.
  • Completion of Medical Assistant Program with minimum 1 year experience a plus. 
  • Current BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR and AED) Certification.
  • Familiar with HIPPA regulations and compliance.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Google Apps strongly preferred; willingness to learn additional job-relevant software (donor database management system, electronic medical records), as required.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

The Operations Specialist I is responsible for processing and isolating human and animal primary cells and conducting quality control analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Processing and isolating human and animal primary cells using immunomagnetic isolation technology.
  • Generating electronic & written records based upon testing and analysis of cell and/or tissue samples.
  • Maintaining and organizing laboratory work area, consumables, and equipment.
  • Preparing buffers, reagents, and other laboratory consumables.

Job Description: 

Reporting to the Director of Clinical Operations, the Clinical Nurse Supervisor is responsible for the day to day management of all clinical staff, oversight of donor care, and ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures. The Clinical Nurse Supervisor is  in charge of staff scheduling and supervising their activities, completing performance reviews, and recruiting and training new personnel. The Clinical Nurse Supervisor also acts as an interface between the donor, clinical staff, donor management personnel, and other departments within AllCells.  This position requires strong people management skills and a problem-solving attitude. In addition, this individual must demonstrate personal commitment to quality and accountability while contributing to company objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversight and supervisor of collection floor to ensure compliance of company’s standard operating procedures (SOP) during day to day clinical operations.
  • Ensure consistent and established process flow is followed by all clinical staff to ensure customer orders are fulfilled and shipped timely and monitored in NetSuite, DMS, AdvancedMD.
  • Establishing  goals and performance expectations with staff that tie to company mission and objectives. Organize workflow and ensure that clinical staff understand their duties or delegated tasks.
  • Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching when needed
  • Regularly review and evaluate clinical staff performance and complete annual performance evaluations 
  • Monitor daily schedule and coordinate daily workflow with donor management staff.
  • Promotes an atmosphere of open communication that facilitates staff input into decision-making, resolution of conflict, and collegiality among all team members, including Donor Management.

  • Minimum 6 years of full-time clinical nursing experience in oncology, apheresis, blood bank, or dialysis required, 
  • 3-5 years clinical supervisory experience with multiple direct reports
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and people management skills 
  • Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Google Apps required; willingness to learn additional job-relevant software (donor database management system, electronic medical records).
