Mobilized Peripheral Blood
Background | Granulocyte-Colony Stimulating Factor (G-CSF) can stimulate bone marrow to produce a large number of hematopoietic stem/progenitor cells. G-CSF can mobilize these stem/progenitor cells from bone marrow into the peripheral blood stream. The effects of G-CSF have changed the practice of bone marrow transplantation. Consequently, mobilized peripheral blood cells (MPB) have become major sources for clinical hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. AllCells is one of only a few providers of Mobilized Peripheral Blood in the world. |
