 Rat Pancreatic Islets are isolated from male rats weighing between 301 to 325 grams and approximately 8.5 to 9.5 weeks of age.  AllCells Rat Pancreatic Islets are measured by IEq standard. Rat pancreatic islets purity is verified by dithizone or Newport Green, and the viability by propidium iodide/acridine orange counter stains. Upon request, the islets can be stabilized in overnight culture prior to shipment.
