Job Description
The Application Scientist is directly responsible for developing applications using human primary cells to support Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Vaccine, and Academic R&D customers. Primary responsibilities also include participating in customer projects, and providing technical and sales & marketing support. The incumbent demonstrates technical leadership by visiting customers, delivering presentations at scientific conferences, and working strategically with a cross-functional team to further develop market opportunities. The individual also provides training at remote locations, collects user feedback, and works with management to incorporate this feedback in the form of product and/or technical literature enhancements. Other responsibilities include developing an outreach program to connect with the community and to increase awareness and usage of the AllCells products.

Job Title: Product Manager
Job Description:
Reporting to the VP, Sales & Marketing, the Product Manager interacts with varying levels of internal and external personnel requiring the ability to work across functional groups. This role requires an in-depth knowledge of operating plans and strategies as well as industry practices for developing, promoting, and selling human primary cells and related services to the life science research market.
Responsibilities:
The incumbent receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to apply resources to meet goals and schedules. The individual exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for achieving results.
1. Manage the product line and P/L, best practice life cycle management and profitability for product line, inventory assessments, initial forecast; COGS analysis; initial financial analysis (ROI); price variables; margin & profitability; cannibalization effects.
2. Develop product specs, product claims content. Determine list pricing (including annual list price), product name, discount guidelines. Recommend needs for beta test/early access. Create & provide Tech Service/Customer Service/Sales. training. Organize sampling program as needed. Analyze data from Research Reports; Commission research reports via centralized function. Execute according to market research objectives. Serve as Project Manager, as required.
3. Develops and supports implementation of all aspects of marketing channel strategies.
4. Applies knowledge of market applications to develop product positioning strategies, develops advertising & promotion campaigns, sets pricing strategies and in-field execution of price adjustments working through sales force.
5. Develops and communicates clear business strategies with an ability to implement initiatives centered on collaborations with key channel partners, R&D or commercial collaborations, in licensing activities or product distribution agreements.
6. Builds and executes regional specific growth strategies in partnership with local sales force to meet new regional market expansion.
