Job Title: Lab Associate I

Responsibilities:
Responsible for processing of human hematopoietic cell or immunological cell products. Works under minimal supervision. Duties include the following: (1) process human bone marrow, peripheral blood and cord blood cells; (2) completely finish the products and ensure the products being shipped out on time; (3) purify RNA or cDNA from hematopoietic/immunological cells; (4) develop and execute stable protocols to test candidate products; (5) maintain accurate notebook; (6) present results at project meetings.

Experience/Skills Required:
(1) 1 – 2 years experience in Cell Biology AND Molecular Biology is desired; (2) Experience in Hematology or Immunology is preferred; (3) Good written and oral communication skills; (4) Ability to accept supervision.

Desired Education:
B.S./B.A  in scientific discipline and 1-2 years of Cell Biology and Molecular Biology experience

You should demonstrate good organizational and communication skills, an ability to perform as part of a team and/or independently, and the capacity to work non-standard hours as needed.

Experience/Skills Required:
(1) minimum 5 years experience in development of Cell Culture Media is desired; (2) Experience in Hematology or Immunology is preferred; (3) Good written and oral communication skills; (4) Ability to accept supervision;

Desired Education:
B.S./B.A in scientific discipline and 3 - 5 years of Cell Biology and Molecular Biology experience
