AllCells serves as a reliable provider of more than 150 primary cell types and related RNA & cDNA from normal and disease-state tissues. Cell types include stem cells (progenitor, CD34
+, etc.), hematopoietic, human hematologic disease, endothelial, dendritic, HUVEC cells, and many others. Unlike cell lines which are typically mutated, transformed or immortalized, primary cells retain their original phenotypes and hence better reflect
in vivo morphology, metabolism and growth characteristics. These attributes are especially important for
in vitro research applications where
in vivo-like models are critically important to the research.
AllCells operates a privately owned, high-capacity human cell collection facility managed by highly trained clinicians to provide customers with a consistent, reliable source of blood and bone marrow from a large, diverse donor pool. Researchers can review donor samples and select specific donors based on age, race, treatment history, disease, and phenotypes.
AllCells products are not for clinical use in humans. AllCells is fully certified in accordance with Local, State and Federal business requirements. Its products are obtained from normal volunteers participating in an Institute Review Board (IRB) or Human Subject Committee approved donor program, and each normal adult volunteer is screened for general health, including tests for HIV, hepatitis B, and hepatitis C.
